This list of needs is offered to you as ways you can directly support us. The list includes a wide variety of needs, (human, material, and financial) which can be served in a variety of ways, from writing a check to spending a year or more working in the Diocese. Needed Human Resources

  • English teachers for San Mateo and San Lucas primary schools
  • Theology lecturers for the Seminary (Spanish-speaking)
  • Missionary priests in Lima and Arequipa
  • Skilled craftsmen for short-term mission teams to build schools and church buildings
  • Short-term mission teams for church and school building improvement
  • Volunteer children and youth workers for San Mateo and San Lucas schools, Casa Hogar Children's Home, and Cuna Jardín. (Gap Year students, ordinands and seminarians, and other volunteers can arrange funding through Missionary Societies)
  • Medical and Dental professionals for short-term mission trips to provide health care
  • Design your own mission project and contact us about your idea

  • Computers (new or refurbished) for use in San Mateo School
  • Theology books in Spanish
  • Fabric and thread for the Arpillera sewing project and the Chorillos crafts project
  • Medical supplies for the Consultorio Medico
  • Bibles in Spanish
  • Books of Common Prayer in Spanish (available through the Episcopal Church USA)
  • Clothing and personal hygiene products for distribution in the pueblos jóvenes
  • Craft materials for Cuna Jardín
  • Christian Education materials in Spanish for all ages

Needed Financial Resources

  • Direct funds to the Diocese to use for its priority ministries
  • On-going support for Casa Hogar Children's Home in Arequipa
  • Scholarships for students to attend San Mateo and San Lucas schools
  • On-going support for teachers' salaries at San Mateo and San Lucas schools
  • Funds for the Reposteria cooking skills project
  • Funds for the meals provided at the Centro Esduiantil and Cuna Jardin
  • Scholarship funds for lay ministers and clergy to pursue advanced theological education
  • On-going support for building materials for constructing buildings for the mission posts
  • Funds to SAMS-USA, SAMS-UK, SAMS-Canada and USPG who pay stipends for long-term and short-term missionaries to Perú. When sending funds to the missionary societies to support the long-term missionaries, please designate who the funds are to support:
